SMILES!
Smiling is infectious,
You catch it like the flu.
Someone smiled at me today,
And I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner,
And someone saw my grin.
When he smiled I realized,
I’d passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile;
Then I realized its worth.
A single smile, just like mine,
Could travel round the earth.
So if you feel a smile begin,
Don’t leave it undetected.
Let’s start an epidemic quick,
And get the world infected!

While sitting on a restaurant’s patio over the weekend, a little girl of about 2 years of age was quietly walking by with her family. I smiled broadly at her, and she tried to run toward me but was unable to because her dad had her hand firmly grasped in his. So instead, she danced with great joy and smiled back. Ahhh, what a sweet thing!
Have you taken The SMILE Challenge yet?
So cute! Little kids are the best! I love how innocent they are and unafraid to show their emotions.
I agree. I would love to be as spontaneous as they are.
Cyndi. TYVM for addressing this theme. Since I started tracking my “smile index” and recording the results, the most significant result to date, has been within. It’s like a shot of adrenaline simply lifts me to a “higher place,” immediately following the smile. I’ll continue to track my results for the balance of the 30 days, at which time it will have become a habit. Truly, the best things in life are free! Thanks again. You get two hugs for this one (also free)!
I’m so glad to hear it. A habitual smiler!…I want to be one, too! Love the hugs!!
Made me smile! Loved it!
Ahhh, so glad!
